since 2002 partner of COQUI MALACHOWSKA COQUI Städtebau Landschaftsarchitektur (urban design and landscape architecture), Berlin/Warsaw
1997-1998 project leader at Prof. J.Peters Landscape Architecture Office in Berlin/Germany
since 1993 own office for planning and building in Warsaw/Poland
since 2013 curator of the international conference Warsaw Architecture Talks (www.wra.org.pl)
in 2004 representative of Poland at the IXth International Biennale of Architecture in Venice
In 1998 representative of Poland at the 1st International Biennale of Lanscape architecture in Barcelona
COQUI MALACHOWSKA COQUI Städtebau Landschaftsarchitektur is doing projects and conducting research between the poles of urban design and country planning as well as architecture and freespaces. In an holistic approach the project work and the research are coined by interdisciplinary work with other disciplines, first of all architecture. The products of the office are understood as unique, contemporary, intentional cultural contributions to our environment with a certain relation to the historical background of the society they are produced for.
Main competition successes: Plaza de Encarnacion, Sevilla,1st prize A: Jürgen Mayer H. (Holcim Award 2005- 3rd prize. Bronze), Hotel van der Valk, Düsseldorf, 1st prize A: Ortner&Ortner, Theatre and Bank square. Warsaw, 2nd place.
